In a major move aimed at helping business persons,
investors and budding entrepreneurs wishing to settle in the Quebec province of
Canada, the immigration authorities have announced to re- open the Quebec Investor
Program on August 1, 2013. This program is designed to attract potential
investors and entrepreneurs to help in the economic development of the Maple
Country and generate employment.
Only 1,750
applications will be accepted under this Program with a maximum of 1200
applications per country. All the applications from the Asian countries will be
accepted in BIQ Hong Kong territory. The order of priority of processing the
applications would be on the basis of a random draw. The Program will open only
for 16 days which means that the applications should reach the authorities in
between August 1 and August 16, 2013 by ‘Regular Mail’ only.
